DANNII B - Vocals

(AS ... Deborah Harry)

DANNII kicked off a professional singing career at 18, joining a funk-inspired soul band & spent a decade providing lead vocals for various line-ups around Melbourne. Cast in The Fab Nobs production of Grease, Dannii then went on to collaborate with songwriter, Neil Osborne, recording a handful of originals on which Steve Williams (John Farnham band) generously contributed his signature sound harmonica to the title track.

Dannii put down the mic for 14 years to focus on raising her family – but as irony would have it, her children urged her back on stage, leading her to cross paths with current band member, Guy. Five years & one fateful conversation later, The Australian Blondie Show was born.

Dannii recalls singing along to the Best of Blondie at age 11, imitating Harry's versatile vocals & learning all the lyrics – even the French ones – never knowing it would one day lead her to this moment.

GUY H - Drums

(AS ... Clem Burke)

Taking up the sticks some 30 years ago, Guy started out as a jazz drummer, segueing into rock, upon joining Paris France, a 90's original band.

After a 15-year hiatus and memories of supporting headline acts such as Baby Animals and Bachelors from Prague, Guy took on drumming for a local coverband.

Not long after, Travis Demsey (ex Living End) got Guy's mojo back into gear, and he now contributes his energy to The Australian Blondie Show.

CHRISTIAN K - Lead Guitar

(AS ... Chris Stein)

CHRISTIAN'S most recent achievement includes the release of his debut instrumental album "Zero to Zen." Two years in the making, this album showcases some of his most diverse playing styles, where his strongest influences are Stevie Ray Vaughn, Mark Knopfler & Joe Satriani, can be heard.

During a trip to Texas, some 10 years ago, Christian collaborated with various musicians, finding influences in players not using a pick, and integrated this into own playing style.

His gift of melody & song craftsmanship, combined with his sense of phrasing and unpredictability brings a fresh approach to instrumental rock guitar.

When presented with the opportunity to join The Australian Blondie Show, Christian grabbed it with both hands.

ADAM G - Keys

(As ... Jimmy Destri)

Playing the keyboards by ear from the age of 4, Adam joined his first band at 13 with a much older group, performing Oz Rock & Classic covers.

At 15, Adam became a founding member of The Big O Showwith the late John Wells, performing on & off for 25 years, including being the support band for the Rock & Roll USA legend Tommy Sands. In the 2000s, Adam played the piano bar on many Royal Caribbean Cruise Liners, supporting international artists and entertaining thousands of guests per week.

Adam currently plays with one of Geelong's best-known cover bands, Madhouse (since 1996, and still going strong) and also plays with Afro Funk/Reggae group, Randy & Jah Roots, a Melbourne reggae institution since the 1970s.

Selling keyboards by day, and playing them by night, Adam is pumped to be part of The Australian Blondie Show.

LEIGH C - RHYTHM GUITAR

(AS ... Frank Infante)

LEIGH is a Guitarist / Audio Engineer & Producer, with over 30 years’ experience.

Leigh co-produced, engineered & mixed fellow band member Christian's debut album "Zero to Zen." Previously, having spent many years playing with Christian in a number of original bands, led them to form a uniquely, instinctive musical partnership.

First picking up the guitar as a 4 year old, thanks to a generous primary school teacher who showed him his first few chords, Leigh never looked back. Growing up listening to his favourite artists Brian May (QUEEN), Ty Tabor (King's X) and Eddie Van Halen, saw him develop a thoroughly 'rock' style, favouring 'drop' tunings for their expressive and weighty voicings. Leigh has recorded and released a number of instrumental guitar tracks in this vein.

Playing live is the ultimate for Leigh. He is keen to bring his guitar skills and energy to The Australian Blondie Show.

NICK G - BASS

(AS - Nigel Harrison)

Picking up the bass guitar in high school NICK quickly discovered a passion for the low end. With an eclectic taste in music, his influences range from Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Dream Theatre, Motown and even Bach.

Not long after acquiring his first bass, Nick began devouring as much knowledge as he could from several highly talented bass players, which led to him teaching & mentoring others. Nick took on many bass playing positions, at times playing with five different bands.

In 2007, Nick earned an Advanced Diploma of Music (Technical Production) and in 2016 joined the progressive metal band Skychaser, whose challenging and technical music helped take Nick's playing to the next level. He currently plays a Yamaha TRB1006 6 string bass – and is super excited to jump on board The Australian Blondie Show.
